eligible for the Doctoral Research Scholarship?
Yes, all applicants should be PhD candidates at an accredited university in order to be eligible for the Scholarship.
The Scholarship is available to those PhD candidates who are in the research stage of their degree, and would like to conduct the research relevant to their dissertation in Ras Al Khaimah. Therefore, it is best if MPhil candidates apply after being officially enrolled in a PhD program.
[2] . Will the Foundation fund research that will be conducted outside of Ras Al Khaimah?

[3] . Does the Doctoral Research Scholarship allow students who are already attending a University in Ras Al Khaimah or the UAE to travel abroad for research?
No. The focus of the Doctoral Research Program is on Ras Al Khaimah, and only applications for studies to be conducted within the Emirate will be considered.
[4] . What is the duration of the Doctoral Research Scholarship?
The Scholarship covers the recipient’s return airfares, accommodation, stipend, research support and office space for a period of one year.

No, the Foundation does not provide the above benefits to family members who wish to accompany the Scholarship recipient to Ras Al Khaimah.
[6] . How long after submitting an application will the results be announced?
