Community Gathering: Parents, Children, & Play: A Child Development Workshop
Join us for a workshop that focuses on using play to develop curious, confident, and communicative children who are ready and eager to learn. The interactive event will explore the meaning of childhood within the realms of play and attachment and provide families with ways to engage and develop attachment with their children through play, using natural resources. The workshop also looks at the different, yet complementary, areas of sleep, nutrition, and reading, which all work alongside play in childhood development.
Presenters include Dr. Kay Sanderson (Programme Coordinator for Education, Middlesex University Dubai), Douglas Russell (Education and pyschology lecturer, Middlesex University Dubai), Louise Edensor (Children’s literature, media, and foundation studies lecturer, Middlesex University Dubai), and Emma Hall (Certified Holistic Transformational Nutrition Coach).

Cost: Guests should provide a refundable 50 AED cash deposit to the Foundation office in order to confirm their reservations. Deposits will be returned to guests in full at the gathering.
