Registration for the Inaugural Symposium for Philanthropy in Education in Geneva
We are pleased to announce that the registration for the Inaugural Symposium on "Philanthropy in Education: Global Trends, Regional Differences and Diverse Perspectives" is now open. This symposium is co-sponsored by the Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi Foundation for Policy Research, NORRAG, the Open Society Foundations and the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, and will be held at the Maison de la paix in Geneva from 22nd to 24th November 2017.
This 3-day event will be divided into plenary and parallel sessions providing participants with the opportunity to focus on specific areas from their own perspective and experiences. Confirmed keynote speakers so far include Professor Stephen Ball (Institute of Education, University College London), Professor Noah Drezner (Teachers College, Columbia University), Ms. Maya Ziswiler (UBS Optimum Foundation), Dr. Natasha Ridge (Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi Foundation for Policy Research) and Dr. Arushi Terway (NORRAG).
