Fee increases approved for some Abu Dhabi schools, some by up to 50%

The Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC) said on Tuesday that 51 out of 186 private schools may raise their fees for the academic year starting next month, some by up to 50 percent.
Despite the announcement, school fee schedules posted by ADEC show that tuition fees will maintain their same price levels as in the elapsed academic year, making parents confused in regards to the fees they will be paying.
In order for a school to qualify for a tuition increase, it must adhere to and implement certain standards.
