  • Innovation Manager

    Hanadi Mohammed

    Hanadi is the Al Qasimi Foundation’s Innovation Manager. She is responsible for leading the Government Exchange Program, Prison Program at the Ras Al Khaimah Correctional Facility, and Teacher Professional Development Program. She also supports several capacity development programs for students and collaborates with school administrators and principals, Ministry of Education officials, and other stakeholders to promote the work of the Al Qasimi Foundation. Hanadi further provides additional administrative services across the Foundation. She was awarded a Level 3 Certificate in Human Resources Practice (QCF) by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development in 2017. Hanadi joined the foundation because she is passionate about education and youth.

  • Innovation Specialist

    Saqr Al Malki

    Saqr currently serves as the Innovation Specialist at the Al Qasimi Foundation. He is responsible for supporting projects and initiatives between the Foundation and its stakeholders, such as the Government Exchange Program, Community Impact Grants and Projects, Prison Program, and Teacher Professional Development Program. He also supports several Foundation teaching initiatives and represents the Foundation on committees and at community events. Saqr previously served as an HR Officer at the Foundation and in other HR positions in Ras Al Khaimah E-Government Authority and RAK Government. He also worked as a Projects Specialist, coordinating the implementation of the e-transformation (SAP) in Ras Al Khaimah. Saqr is currently studying his Master's in Innovation & Entrepreneurship in the University of Wollongong, Dubai. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management from the UAE University and is a certified HR Business Partner at the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). Saqr enjoys being a part of the Foundation’s greater impact on the Ras Al Khaimah community.

  • Program Assistant

    Gehad Al Najjar

    Gehad currently serves as the Al Qasimi Foundation’s Program Assistant. In his role, he coordinates the Foundation’s Education Program at RAK Correctional Facility and cooperates with the IQRA project team to develop reading material for Grade 1 student to increase their reading speed. Gehad also supports the Foundation’s Teacher Professional Development and Government Exchange Programs, as well as our writing, editing, and translation needs. He previously worked as a Freelance Teaching Assistant at the Foundation, as an English teacher for five years in Syria and 26 years in the UAE, and as a sworn translator for the Syrian Ministry of Justice. He holds an English Literature BA from Damascus University, Syria. Gehad joined the foundation because of his passion for educational issues.

  • Innovation Associate

    Jackie Adero

    Jackie serves as the Innovation Associate at the Al Qasimi Foundation. She is responsible for the Teacher Professional Development Program and for supporting the College Preparation Program. Previously, Jackie worked in the UAE as an instructor, head of an English department, and facilitator of in-school Teacher Professional Development workshops. She has more than ten years of experience teaching English as a second language and overseeing community development projects sponsored by Non-Governmental Organizations. Jackie has an Education - Literature and English Language BA from Kyambogo University, Uganda and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management from Makerere University Business School, Uganda. She is passionate about social entrepreneurship and the role formal and informal education plays in youth and women empowerment.

  • Innovation Programs Assistant

    Shahed Almarabta

    Shahed joined the Al Qasimi Foundation as an Innovation Programs Assistant. She is responsible for supporting and evaluating the Innovation Programs. Shahed has previously worked as a Research Assistant for the Department of Health in Abu Dhabi where she helped complete the cardiovascular disease project. She holds a Biomedical Science BSc (Hons) from Keele University, United Kingdom and is highly passionate about health, innovation, research, and teaching.
