  • Arts & Culture Manager

    Suqrat bin Bisher

    Suqrat is the Al Qasimi Foundation’s Arts & Culture Manager. Previously, he worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Higher College of Technology - Dubai Men’s College, where he also received his Applied Communication BA. Suqrat is a member of the UAE Special Olympics and UAE Youth Council. He is an artist and arts administrator, having organized more than five art exhibitions and directed more than seven short films and documentaries, some of which were screened at the Gulf Film Festival in 2011. Suqrat is the Director and Co-Founder of the Dubai Students Film Festival and is passionate about supporting creative minds in the UAE, especially locals.

  • Digital Media Executive

    Aaesha Al Ahmed

    Aaesha holds the position of Digital Media Executive at the Al Qasimi Foundation, having previously worked as the Community Engagement and Outreach Coordinator. Aaesha is responsible for promoting the Foundation’s activities to its local and international communities through media relations, social media management, and by creating multimedia content. Prior to rejoining the Foundation, Aaesha worked in a government department in Ras Al Khaimah for three years. Aaesha holds an Applied Media BA from the Higher Colleges of Technology in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. Her goal is to participate actively and productively in fields that help her to learn and develop new skills. ​

  • Graphic Designer

    Azza Alnuaimi

    Azza joined the Al Qasimi Foundation as the full-time Graphic Designer following her internship developing content and branding for the 7th Annual Ras Al Khaimah Fine Arts Festival. In addition to her graphic design expertise, she is responsible for multimedia projects and supports the Foundation’s broader communication and event efforts. Azza received her BA in Applied Media and Graphic Design Higher Colleges of Technology in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. She is a passionate young designer from Ras Al Khaimah who is eager to develop the region’s art hubs.

  • Assistant Manager for Ras Al Khaimah Fine Arts Festival

    Gretchen Flores

    Gretchen Flores serves as the Assistant Manager of the Ras Al Khaimah Fine Arts Festival, having previously worked as the Foundation’s Events Executive. She is responsible for managing Festival operations to ensure the smooth function and success of all its activities. Prior to her work with the Foundation, Gretchen was a teacher in the Philippines for three years. She also worked as a receptionist and after-sales and logistics coordinator for a Swiss company in Ras Al Khaimah before joining the Foundation. She holds an Education BS from Bicol University in the Philippines. Gretchen likes to keep a positive mindset to ensure good office morale and to help her team stay motivated and optimistic.

  • Communications and Social Media Specialist

    Ethan David

    Ethan joined the Al Qasimi Foundation as the Communications and Social Media Specialist. In his role, he is responsible for writing and editing the Foundation’s English language content, as well as developing and implementing its social media campaigns. Before joining the Foundation, Ethan worked as the Marketing Assistant for the Arts Center at NYUAD. He holds a Theater BA and a Film & New Media BA from New York University Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. During his undergraduate studies, Ethan studied in Abu Dhabi, New York, and Sydney where he helped develop various short films and worked on staged productions as a writer, director, stage manager, and producer. He is the Managing and Co-Creative Director of Exit 11 Performing Arts Company.

  • Events Specialist

    Ji Young Kim

    Ji Young joined the Al Qasimi Foundation as the Events Specialist. In her role, she is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing events that foster community engagement and cultural development in Ras Al Khaimah and beyond. Before joining the Foundation, Ji Young served as Sufara’a Cultural Ambassador, representing New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) in the Abu Dhabi community. Ji Young holds an Arab Crossroads BA from NYUAD, United Arab Emirates. During her undergraduate degree, she studied Arabic language and conducted research on the development of Emirati youth subculture in Abu Dhabi. Ji Young aims to create cross-cultural platforms to bring diverse communities together.

  • Non-Resident Translator

    Sahar Jawad

    Sahar serves as the Al Qasimi Foundation’s Non-Resident Translator, supporting its research and grantees. Sahar has collaborated with renowned researchers from all over the world. She is an international certified translator in English and Arabic with more than 15 years of experience in translation, editing, proofreading, and transcribing. She holds a Health Administration BS from Baghdad University. 

  • Non-Resident Graphic Designer

    Jineesh Mammasram

    Jineesh is the Al Qasimi Foundation’s Non-Resident Graphic Designer. He is a freelance designer who assists the Foundation with branding, creative design, and conceptualization and layout of marketing materials and publications. Jineesh has been a graphic designer for over 16 years, working across the Arab Gulf region. He holds an MB in Advertising and Marketing from the Sree Narayana Educational Research and Examination Board, as well as numerous certificates in different aspects of design.
